2013 School Board Election
IMPORTANT NOTICE
EXTENDED RECRUITMENT PERIOD
The District 68 School Board Nominating Committee has extended the timeline for accepting applications from candidates who would like to run for a school board position in order to recruit additional candidates.
Members of the 2013 Nominating Committee include: Steve Gardner, Chair, and Frank Alkyer, Caryn Bean, Pazit Burstin, Meghan Espinoza, Edie Hertel, Kristin Jacobsen, Karen Koehler-Davis, Chris Rivero, Tracy Sullivan, Andrew Toy, Michael Whitney, Lisa Zagorin, and Allison Zidek.
The district has four (4) full-term positions on the District 68 Board of Education when the terms of Amy Anson, David Beller, Una McGeough, and Hank Schneider expire in April, 2013.
Board of Education members will be elected in the Consolidated Election on April 9, 2013.
Applications for nomination to the District 68 Board of Education are now available at the Skokie School District 68 Educational Service Center, 9440 Kenton Avenue, Skokie, Illinois, 60076, or can be downloaded from the above link.
Completed applications for the Nominating Committee must be returned to the District 68 Educational Service Center by noon on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
Interviews will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Educational Service Center.
