In the interests of serving you better, we remind everyone that most communications about school issues should start with your child's teacher, his/her school principal, and potentially the District Superintendent. The School Board is charged with setting overall policy for the school district and, as such, is not involved in the day-to-day administration of each school. Also be advised that communications with the School Board may be public records subject to disclosure under the law. So, in the interests of your own privacy and that of others, we strongly discourage any communication relating to a particular student or employee being directed to the School Board in a manner that could compromise privacy interests. Lastly, we regret that we can not respond to all messages received, but we assure you that all messages received will be distributed to all members of the Board of Education of School District 68.
