Public Participation at Board Meetings

The District 68 School Board is invested in serving its community and welcomes public input at the designated time during board meetings. It is important, however, to remember that school board meetings are meetings of the board held in public. They are not back and forth dialogues with Board members during the meeting nor are they public hearings unless specifically designated as such.

If a member of the public raises an issue or a concern that requires follow-up, the Board President or Superintendent will do so in a timely manner.

The Board shall not permit personal attacks against any district employee. Members of the audience are requested to be respectful of individuals expressing their views to the Board and to be respectful of the Board during its deliberations.  We thank you for your input and cooperation.
