That's a Wrap 2025-2026 School Year!

Dear Families,

I cannot believe today is the last day of school! It seems just yesterday we were getting ready to open school for the 2025-2026 school year. I have loved being at the Early Childhood Center this school year and have enjoyed watching your children grow and build a love of learning.

I want to thank all of you for your collaboration and partnership this school year. We cannot do our jobs effectively without your help and support!

To our students and families who are moving on to Kindergarten, I am so incredibly proud of the growth our students have made and all the work they have done this past school year and during their time at the ECC. Each and every one of our students is ready for Kindergarten, and I know they will continue to grow and thrive in elementary school.

To our returning students and families, I look forward to seeing you all again in August. I am very excited to be able to welcome you all in our new building next school year. Stay tuned for updates on when you will be able to come and see the new building in August.

In closing, I want to wish you all a happy and healthy summer! I look forward to seeing you all in the fall either at the new ECC or around the District.

Sincerely,

Mr. John Siegler

Pick-Up Student Items

Our teachers are sending home all personal items that belong to students today. If your child is missing any personal items (e.g.: extra sets of clean clothes), please reach out to Mrs. Canchola at the email address or phone number below. You may come by the ECC to pick-up the items between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. next week. Mrs. Canchola will start calling families of students who were absent the final days of school to pick up their belongings on Monday.

ECA Summer Events

The Niles Township Early Childhood Alliance (ECA) has published their calendar of summer events. We sent home a copy of the calendar with your child today.

This calendar is a compilation of some great FREE opportunities in the Niles Township area specifically for children birth to five years old during June, July, and August at 5 local libraries, park districts, forest preserves and Chicago area museums.
