Skokie 68 Communications

School District 68, as a tax-supported governmental organization, has the responsibility to keep the community informed regularly through all channels of communication about district operations, stewardship of its financial resources, objectives, and educational programs.

Skokie School District 68 believes that open, two-way communication, both internally and externally, are critical components of our success in supporting students learning. The desired outcomes of our communications endeavors are to build trust, create understanding, and to work in partnership with our constituents. Our communication vehicles include our quarterly In Brief community newsletter that is mailed to homes, Superintendent E-News, school level E-News, staff and parent surveys, superintendent and principal coffees, and Board Briefs. Additionally, parent forums focused on specific topics are held on an as-needed basis.
