~ School Information~


School Office Hours:

The School Office will be open Monday thru Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you have any questions please call 847-568-7501.

 

Attendance Line:

If your child will be absent, late or picked up early, please call the Attendance Line at 847-568-7596.

 

There you will leave the following information:

  • Students First Name, Last Name

  • Date of Absence, Late Arrival or Pick Up

  • Reason for Absence, Late or Pick Up

  • Your Name (parent)

  • Phone Number you may be contacted if needed

Please remember to speak clearly and slowly so we are able to get all the correct information needed for your students' absence. If you are picking up your student for any reason, please remember to have a valid state ID to show when you come in to sign your student out.

 

Moving Out Of The District

Please contact the Main Office at 847-568-7501 Ext 7506 and speak with Ms. Johnson. She will get your information and will be able to send school records to your child's new school. This will make for a smooth transition for your student.

School Physicals Needed - Incoming 6th Graders

 

IMPORTANT: As a reminder, all incoming 6th grade students will need to have a current physical on file before October 15, 2024. IDPH Form 2024

 

Sports Physicals - If your student would like to participate in sports, again they will need to have a sports physical or on the back of the physical form, have the doctor also complete the inter-scholastic section of the form to have your student participate in school sports. School sports start at the beginning of the school year.

 

This time of year is very busy at the doctors office, so please make sure you have your appointment scheduled.

 

In accordance with the ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) site, Section 665.140 Timetable for Examinations:

 

The examination shall be conducted within one year before the following:

  • Entering school (this includes nursery school, special education, Head Start or other pre-kindergarten programs operated by elementary school systems or secondary level school units or institutions of higher learning; and students transferring into Illinois from outside of the state or country.

  • Entering kindergarten or first grade.

  • Entering the sixth grade.

  • Entering the ninth grade.

  • For students attending school programs where grade levels are not assigned.

  • Examinations shall be completed before the date of entering and within one year prior to the school years in which the child will be 5, 11, and 15 years of age.


~ Safety ~


Attention All Students

Students need to cross at the stoplight at Gross Point and Kenton if they would like to go to Culvers.

It is very dangerous to cross in the middle of Gross Point without a stoplight and crosswalk.

 

Student Safety

Parent’s when you drop off or pick up your child, please do not stop your vehicle on Kenton or the entrance of the driveways (while on Kenton) as this poses a serious safety concern for your student as well as others in the immediate area. Please use the parent drive to drop off and pick up your student from school.
