As part of our concerted efforts to reduce bullying, aggressive, and/or mean behavior at Old Orchard Junior High, we plan special educational experiences for students which may include the viewing of selected scenes from the documentary film, Bully.
Bully is a powerful film that provides a compelling and tragic portrait of the consequences of bullying in our society. Through the power of real life individual stories, the film aims to be a catalyst for change in the way students, teachers, school administrators, parents, and society as a whole deal with bullying, aggressive, and mean behavior. You may view the clips that were chosen by our faculty on this page.
All of our students participate in a social skills program that addresses bullying during their study hall classes. Students also participate in cyber bullying programming in their Health classes.
Please review the resources that we have included to use when talking to your child about bullying. We appreciate your partnership to stop bullying.
